A solid gratitude practice, as we all know, is great to find appreciation in the little things. We also know that giving people compliments or verbal “love” makes them feel good, as well as yourself. However, we forget that cycle has to come back around to us, we deserve those compliments too. We may notice that it is hard to accept someone complimenting us, especially if it is on an area that you don’t usually shine self-compassion on.
Learning to let OTHER love you is just as important as loving yourself. Being able to truly and compassionately accept love from another person will replenish you self-care cup, anyways. You deserve to love and to be loved, so accept that compliment and as always keep shining onward.
