It's National Random Acts of Kindness Day! 💞 For many of us, it's easy to be kind to others, but we often struggle to offer that same gesture toward ourselves. This can lead us to neglect our own well-being, which ultimately leads to burnout.

Will you join us today in cultivating a little self-kindness? ➡️ Take a seat, allow yourself to be still, and take a few deep breaths. Check in with how you're feeling and try to listen to what your body is telling you.

Are you feeling worn out, overwhelmed, anxious or detached? If so, you could be experiencing burnout, which is attributed to chronic stress. Consider adding a mental health day to your calendar.

Here are three signs of burnout:

💟 You're constantly tired, having frequent headaches, or having trouble sleeping: If your daily routine feels draining, you might be overextending yourself. Your body is always sending you messages—remember to tune in!

💟 You're constantly feeling overwhelmed, anxious, numb, or lacking in motivation: When these feelings show up, we're often hard on ourselves. A good first step towards kindness is to remind yourself that these are not signs of laziness or incompetence—they're natural responses to stress.

💟 You're having difficulty making decisions or concentrating, you're procrastinating more, or turning to unhealthy coping mechanisms: If you find yourself falling into old habits, don't despair—think of it as one more opportunity to be mindful and choose kindness instead.

We all need to take a step back sometimes. Taking breaks isn't selfish—it's a way of ensuring we can show up at our best! 💖
