Sandy Cayler

Sandy Cayler (she, her, hers) is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Allen College with a Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis in Psychiatric and Mental Health. She is board certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Sandy has worked in healthcare for nearly 40 years. Most of this time Sandy worked St Anthony Hospital in Carroll, Iowa, providing nursing care on the inpatient psychiatric unit. Her last five years there she worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in
both the inpatient unit and outpatient clinic.

She is a has been a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), and Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI) for a number of years.

Sandy performs diagnostic evaluations and medication management for teens and adults of all ages. She has experience with perinatal clients, geriatric clients, adults and adolescents over the age of 12. Her passion is to help her clients achieve their
mental wellness goals with an emphasis on overall wellness.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family – including her husband Jeff, her children and grandchildren, and their three dogs – reading, gardening, and developing new hobbies.
