Marcia (she, her, hers) is a licensed mental health practitioner (LMHP) with over 5 years of experience in multiple mental health settings. Marcia works with all practitioners at Omaha Integrative Care to provide the best standard of care. Her collaborative approach and utilization of integrative therapies allow her to meet patients where they are.
Marcia graduated in 2007 with her BA in History and International Studies from Taylor University and in 2013 with her Masters in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has been practicing mental health therapy since 2013. She trained and worked at Heartland Family Services and Community Alliance, both places working with underserved families and adults. Marcia is also trained in EMDR, Circle of Security Parenting and Sandtray Therapy. She has worked collaboratively with other practitioners to help children, families and adults. Marcia focuses her practice on people above 15 years old. Marcia often implements interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy in correlation with integrative therapies with her patients.
