Melissa Prickett, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a compassionate and driven family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care with an integrative approach rooted in functional medicine. She has particular interests in anti-aging therapies, peri/menopausal care, and hormone health, and is passionate about supporting individuals across all stages of life.

Melissa began her healthcare journey in Lincoln, Nebraska, as a certified nursing assistant in a nursing home. She went on to earn her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in 2011 and began her clinical career in pediatric care. Determined to expand her scope, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and transitioned to the intensive care unit, where she deepened her clinical expertise. In 2019, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Clarkson College, becoming a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

Her professional experience spans intensive care, neurology, primary care, and functional medicine. Melissa’s diverse background has shaped her patient-centered philosophy, emphasizing individualized care, patient education, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their wellness journey.

Outside of her clinical work, Melissa cherishes time with her husband, Seth, and their three young children. Whether she’s cooking alongside her kids or sharing a Peloton workout with one of them by her side, she values moments that blend health, family, and fun. Melissa is thrilled to join Omaha Integrative Care, where she looks forward to making a meaningful impact in her community.
