Susan Ziola


Susan (she, her, hers) graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with her bachelors in Education Administration and later graduated from Creighton University with her Masters in Counseling & Preventative Mental Health. Susan is a licensed mental health practitioner in the state of Nebraska (LMHP).

Susan has extensive experience working in the school setting with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She primarily works with children, adolescents, families, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, behavioral concerns, child and parent relationship issues, communication and adjusting to life transitions. She has experience working with women struggling with post-partum depression.

Her 19 years of experience in the schools and 6 years in the mental health field allows her to work collaboratively with her patients to overcome struggles using goal setting and empowerment. Susan utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and is currently earning her certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Ultimately Susan wants to educate and utilize the importance of mind, body, and happiness within adults, families, children, and adolescents.

Susan looks at therapeutic support as helping individuals and families within an integrative approach that promotes wellness in all areas of life – physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual.
