Nicolette (she, her, hers) graduated from Missouri Western State University with her Bachelors of Science in psychology in 2014. In 2017 she graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with her Master’s in Science in counseling. She is a provisionally licensed mental health provider.
She has worked in the UNO’s Counseling and Psychological Services where she provided counseling services to the UNO community. This experience allowed her to work with a large range of diversities. Nicolette worked with many international students, minorities, athletes and the LGBTQ+ community.
Nicolette’s experience allows her to use a holistic approach when treating her diverse patients. She uses CBT, REBT, person-centered and group therapy as treatment and theory applications. She sees young adults to adults, ranging from 16 years old and up. Nicolette specializes in depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment and trauma, grief and loss and relationship conflict. She uses and supports a holistic and integrative approach allowing her to see the big picture of the person’s life, forming accurate goals and objectives.
