Nicole (she, her, hers) is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Nicole specializes in working with children who are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. Her work focuses on finding healthy coping skills, teaching new ways to communicate big feelings and building on the parent/caretakers’ strengths. Nicole believes in assisting families in finding the best ways to support their children through tough times, while also empowering children to work through big feelings.
Nicole also works as a couple’s therapist to build a stronger foundation for their relationship. She is Gottman Level 2 trained, which is the foremost marital counseling theory available. Nicole’s practice with couples includes communication skills, attachment issues, betrayal, and premarital counseling. She provides therapy to relationships of all structures.
Nicole is familiar with the military lifestyle and relates to the highs and lows this lifestyle can have on a couple and family. She hopes to bring her insight and skills to assist military families, couples and individuals struggling within our community.
Nicole is fluent in Spanish and provides therapy in both English and Spanish.
