Michelle (she, her, hers) graduated from Bellevue University with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health and is currently pursuing a master’s in Mental Health Clinical Counseling at Bellevue University.
Michelle is a member of the American Counseling Association, is certified through American Association of Suicidology, and is a Certified Reiki Practitioner Level II. As a Crisis Counselor for the Boys Town National Hotline for more than nine years, Michelle takes calls from all over the world for hotlines like Boys Town, Lifeline, and recently Safe2Help (an anonymous tip line for students in Nebraska). She has been working with all ages, backgrounds, and issues — specializing in suicide prevention.
Michelle’s goals are to become proficient in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) therapy and to eventually become a Qualified MBSR teacher. She is currently in an 8-week training session to improve her skills in meditation, mindful yoga, and everyday activities. She wants to help people reach their fullest potential in a way that empowers them, builds their self esteem, and grows their confidence in order to help them conquer anything life throws at them.
