Kelsey White (she, her, hers) is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who offers integrative primary medical care at OIC. Prior to her healthcare experience, she has a background in communications. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with her Bachelor of Science in Communications and from Nebraska Methodist College with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Additionally, she is working on completing her Post-Master’s certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Chamberlain University, as well as a clinical certification aimed at helping patients with stress, anxiety, self-regulation, emotional management skills, and trauma-informed care through HeartMath.

Kelsey prides herself on her ability to connect with patients and help them achieve optimized wellness. She believes in a holistic approach to care and takes time and consideration into everyone’s unique story. She aims to partner with patients to meet their goals, keeping in mind each patient’s unique circumstances. She performs wellness examinations, chronic disease management, medication management, and nurse coaching for adults of all ages.

Her passion is to empower patients through education. Her education and unique experiences in a variety of healthcare settings give her a variety of tools to aid in patients’ lives and care. However, not every tool works for every patient, so Kelsey works to learn what patients are specifically seeking in their approach to health and wellness. Kelsey looks to optimize functional medicine interventions as applicable for patients and assists in guiding an integrative approach to primary care. She may serve as patients’ primary care provider or work in conjunction with your current primary provider or specialists.

When not with patients, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being physically active, and caring for her own personal and professional growth and development.
