Christine (she, her, hers) came across yoga in 2012 when she was studying at Columbia College in Chicago. With a dance background, yoga came easily to her. At the time she was working a corporate job that was completely draining her and slowly the practice started to wake her up to the stress and strain she was putting on her body and mind. In 2015 she moved back to Omaha and made a commitment to take better care of herself, and focus on yoga. Christine received her 200Hr teacher training with Passion Yoga School in Costa Rica. It was there that she learned tools for moving through life with a deeper awareness and connection to everyone and everything around her. Christine went back to Costa Rica in 2017 and completed her 500hr teacher training and studied with world-renowned teachers including Adi Shakti, Gaia Ma, Bryan Kest, Carole Westerman, and David Wagner. In 2019, she received her certification for health coaching from the Integrative Women’s Health Institute and works with women one on one to improve their fertility, and use their menstrual cycle as a diagnostic tool for healing. For Christine, the practice of yoga is a reminder to set the ego aside and meet yourself where you are. She strives to create a space for people to come and be themselves, to be where ever it is they are in their lives and to know that it’s enough. Her classes have a strong attention to the breath, awareness of the body, and a witness to the mind.
