Alisha (she, her, hers) is a licensed independent mental health practitioner and licensed professional counselor. Alisha obtained a bachelor of science in psychology pre-medicine from Xavier University of Louisiana. Additionally, she earned a master of science in human services and a master of science in clinical counseling with Bellevue University.
Alisha specializes in trauma-informed care across the lifespan. She has training in domestic violence, victim witness, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Advanced Families Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). Alisha also has early intervention training in positive behavior supports and suicide prevention through Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with adolescents. Alisha is passionate about helping clients reconnect their body and mind to nurture a journey of healing and wholeness.
