Adrian Brown

Student Therapist

Adrian Brown (he, him, his) is a transplant from Texas but has been in Nebraska for 12 years. He received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and is currently a graduate student at the Grace Abbott School of Social Work. Adrian has experience working with child welfare, the juvenile justice system, and adults experiencing homelessness with severe and persistent mental illness. Adrian joins Omaha Integrative Care as a clinical intern and plans to finish his internship in August 2025.

Adrian believes that therapy is a radical form of self-care and that in working to take care of yourself, you can be better equipped to not only live, but to thrive. Adrian looks forward to using various therapeutic modalities and techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Adrian has a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and system-impacted youth. Adrian believes that creating an open and safe environment using empathy, compassion, and collaboration can foster a space for healing.

Outside of work and graduate school, Adrian enjoys reading, building Lego sets, and spending time with family, friends, and his pets.
