Classic massage, also known as Swedish massage, is meant to help you relax, release stress, and ease physical pain. Swedish massage is a foundational massage modality that uses light to medium pressure. Massage therapists may use a variety of techniques, including rubbing, kneading, and long gliding strokes. Our massage therapists may also incorporate other techniques, including deep tissue massage, cupping, cranial sacral therapy, or essential oils. If you are interested in these, please discuss with your provider at the time of service to determine if they would be a good fit.
Ear seeds are a form of acupressure or reflexology of the ear. Pellets or ‘seeds’ are placed on specific areas of the ear to stimulate a more balanced body. Seeds can last up to two weeks.
Ear seeds are used for reducing inflammation, back pain, migraines, digestive issues, stress and anxiety, balancing hormones, fertility, weight loss and addiction. In some cases only one session is needed, but for something such as fertility and chronic issues more sessions are needed.
We offer a 30-minute ear seed session or a combination of a 30-minute ear seed session followed by a 60-minute massage.
Using a combined approach weaves massage therapy with pain recovery coaching to address chronic pain from both the body and the nervous system. Gentle, intentional bodywork helps calm tension and build physical safety, while coaching supports retraining the brain’s pain response. Together, they create a supportive path toward lasting relief, restored movement, and greater trust in your body.
Cranial sacral therapy massage is a gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the bones, membranes, and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The therapist uses light touch and gentle manipulation to release tension and restrictions in the craniosacral system, which can help to improve the functioning of the nervous system, reduce pain and discomfort, and promote relaxation and overall well-being.
Dynamic cupping is a type of massage therapy that uses silicone or plastic cups to create suction on the skin and underlying tissues, and then moves the cups around the body to create a massage-like effect. The cups are placed on the skin and then suction is created by either using a hand pump or by heating the air inside the cup. The therapist then moves the cups around the body, using a variety of techniques such as gliding, shaking, and tapping, to create a dynamic and rhythmic massage.
