Slow Flow & Somatic Strength

When: Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 a.m.
What: This class is designed to help create balance in your body, mind, and nervous system. Our format is a blend of styles, so you get a little bit of what you want and a little bit of what you need. We typically start off slow and close to the ground with Yin style poses related to our class focus. From there, we begin to move and add in a bit of Flow (Vinyasa) with Sun Salutations and poses linked together with breath. This middle part of class is active, with several options for all levels. We end the class with a few Restorative poses, and then we drift into final relaxation in order to integrate after our practice. *Some weeks may use small 2-pound Yoga balls as a way to feel grounded, expansive, and/or to encourage subtle strength.
Who is this class for? Anyone who enjoys a blend of styles in their practice, with the invitation to customize intensity based on their own unique experience.
