Holly Jolly Journaling

November 13, 2017 | Isa Luzarraga

We may all remember the times when we were little, and we would jot down every little thing that happened to us each day in a diary. It may be that some of us still journal to this day, and take refuge in the pages. It can be soothing and relaxing to lay out all your thoughts and ideas, in an informal way.

With the holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and more arriving in the near future, everyone’s to-do lists are getting full. Many are buying presents, planning dinners, and coping with the everyday pressures of school and/or work. The holidays come with a lot of hustle and bustle that can be hard to regulate without the right coping tools.

There are so many things to remember, and so many events that could go wrong. Everybody’s stress levels are heightened. This isn’t to say that the holidays aren’t worth it; they are wonderful, but sometimes we need a break.

Sometimes we need to clear the mind and put down all of our thoughts on paper. This way we are acknowledging our worries, triumphs, and experiences. A weight often is lifted from shoulders, giving us the purpose of the holidays. OIC offers you the tools to journal by offering 40% off this month. This is your permission to fill those pages with anything you want, enjoy!
